I’m delighted to be part of an upcoming panel on the evolution of creative nonfiction, presented as part of the Creative Nonfiction Collective’s online festival, Reconciling Truth. The festival runs from April 2nd to April 5th, and my panel takes place on the final day—April 5th at 9:00am PST.

I’ll be in conversation with my dear friend and fellow CNFC co-founder, Myrna Kostash, as we reflect on how the genre has transformed over the past two decades. We’ll be exploring the bold formal experiments, ethical quandaries, and expanded narrative voices that have reshaped the field, as well as the questions that continue to shape its future.

This conversation feels especially meaningful as we look back on the founding of the CNFC and the ways in which creative nonfiction has grown from the margins to become a vibrant, urgent literary form. I hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a rich, personal, and wide-ranging discussion.

Tickets for the CNFC online festival can be purchased here.
