Betweenness is usually something to avoid – the devil and the deep blue sea, between a rock and a hard place – yet writers need to engage with it.
Whether it’s between doubt and confidence, cultures, drafts, languages, time frames, genres, race, writing projects, different art forms, conflicting memories, identities, truth and fiction, betweeness is a dynamic site.
Betsy will establish a conceptual framework and provide a series of exercises to enable you to identify and access the greater narrative potential found in writing into, and out of, the betweenness in your writing.
Cost: $100 per participant
